Chocolate VS Cheese

SOMEONE (who will remain unnamed) argued with me last month that chocolate is the solution to all our problems, not cheese. I completely disagree, but anonymous friend, this one goes out to you:

Okay, bear with me here.

Chocolate is the "salad" of the food world. Yay, chocolate. *spinning a finger in a circle*

But the moon is made of cheese, and the moon is round, like a filet mignon. Therefore, where chocolate is salad, cheese is steak.

And I like steak a TON more than salad. ; )

  3. I prefer to not have to choose between these two delights. I'll take cheese as the meal and use the chocolate to fill in the gaps.

    1. People love cheese. People love chocolate. Chocolate cheese! We'll make millions! (Kidding, kidding.)

  4. Hahahaha, Crystal! Chocolate also counts as a veggie. WOWOWOWOW!!! I'm thinking I can fit chocolate into all of the food groups. It's gonna be a chocolatey day. :-)

  5. It's hard to argue with that kind of logic.

    1. =) Hey, any logic that justifies yummy food is worth embracing, right?

  6. Yeah, I think I have to agree with you. While I love chocolate, I can only have so much at a time. Cheese, however, I could eat all day.
    Mmm cheese...

  7. Woohoo it sounds like I finally have my excuse to eat more chocolate. Cheeses is good too, no arguments there lol.

  8. Too funny! But I think I could argue that even though chocolate come from a tree, it's a fruit, so therefore it's a fruit salad which is a lot better than a regular salad! :)

    1. LOL. I guess it's true, but I'd still rather have steak than fruit salad. ;)

  9. Steak definitely wins over salad. But personally, I think chocolate deserves its own food group :) Therefore a meal should be balanced out by some kind of chocolate addition.

  10. Hi, I love salad before my steak. So I love both and refuse to deprive myself of either -- salad, steak, chocolate or cheese. You know you can have a cheese course before dessert or is that before the salad course. Eat and by merry.

    1. Yikes, if you're going to eat both this could get confusing. ;)

  11. Giving up chocolate is not hard for me. I have done it before. Giving up cheese, well, lets just say I have tried to do it and failed. You absolutely win.

    1. LOL. Give up cheese? Why would you even attempt such a thing? *shudders*

  12. I have to agree with the person who said chocolate solves everything. Just used it last night when I was wiped out and my daughter takes a tiny piece in the mornings to motivate her to get up at 4:50 am. Sorry.

    1. But have you tried cheese instead? That's the real question. ;)

  13. I have to be more careful eating cheese--some of it I love is aged in such a way that I can end up with a nasty migraine. :-)

I eat most things in moderation but I have to say there are times there is no substitute for chocolate. More than diamonds, it's a girls best friend! :-D

  14. LOL good argument!

I cannot eat chocolate anymore, so cheese automatically wins!
But oh, I crave chocolate so much sometimes now that I can't have it, it's terrible.

But I still think peanut butter trumps both chocolate and cheese, unfortunately I'm not allowed to have that either.
So cheese still wins. Until I can have peanut butter again.

    Cheese wins, *conditionally*!!! :)

  15. Actually, cheese and thank you. Being a dog, I just love cheese. Chocolate is a no, no, sadly.

The whole issue at steak has been pawfoundly stated by you, my human friend. Salad? Lettuce think about that cos we want to :)

Pawsitive wishes and a good weekend to you,

  16. Psh, chocolate is totally a nut. Or maybe a fruit. It is the seed of a fruit, after all! (odd note: the cocoa fruit is rather delicious, with faint hints of peach).

Anyway, cheese > chocolate any day. I just never knew there were so many of us cheese fans!
