What's a bucket list? Simply put, it's a list of things you want to see or do before you die or "kick the bucket".
So, here's my bucket list:
See the world. (Yes, you read right, world.)
An Alaskan cruise.
Go hang gliding.
Get my musical on Broadway.
Wow. That was long, right? Perhaps slightly ambitious too...but you only live once. We have to make the best of it.

Crystal, cool bucket list. I bet an Alaskan cruise would be nice. I've been on a cruise to the Bahamas. Hubby and I did that for our honeymoon.
ReplyDeleteThe Bahamas are fun, for sure, but Alaska is such a different experience. I think I'm going to make my hubby take me for our 20 year anniversary.
DeleteAn Alaskan cruise sounds wonderful! I really hope you get that musical up and noticed. I remember that's how we first met - you were telling me about it and I read a little.
ReplyDeleteWow. We've got some history, eh? I haven't pushed that thing for years. It will happen one day though. (When I'm done pushing books.)
DeleteNice.
ReplyDeleteThe whole world.
I get it!
Great post.
Heather
We've seen some of it, but truthfully, I'd love to take three to six month stints and just live all over the place. Starting with India.
DeleteYour musical on Broadway! Nice choice!
ReplyDeleteThanks! One day. One beautiful day...
DeleteAn Alaskan cruise would be awesome!! Hang-gliding...not so much lol
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? That's the closest you can really come to feeling like a bird, and I'd love to feel like a bird.
DeleteDo you think you can go to space and see half the world at one time?? That would be cool.
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Well, I guess that would be one way to get 'er done.
DeleteI'll go hang gliding with you! We used to watch people hang glide off Sandia Peak in Albuquerque and I always wanted to try it. There's a place on the NC coast where you can do it over the beach and ocean and I'm going to do it some day.
ReplyDelete*high five* I think you're totally onto something there. Over the water... That would definitely be the safest way to go.
DeleteOff to Alaska we go! ;) I'm slowly ticking off bits of the world, but every place you see just makes you want to go back again!
ReplyDeleteI know! It's not fair, right?
DeleteGreat bucket list. I think I might skip Alaska and head for the Caribbean instead;-) Getting a lit agent is high on my bucket list right now!
ReplyDeleteDone the Caribbean. Multiple times. Time for something different.
DeleteGreat bucket list! Alaska is one place I desire also. Musicial... Love them and always have and look forward to seeing it on Broadway!
ReplyDeleteYay! One day. One fine day...
DeleteOur lists would be nothing if they weren't a little ambitious. :) I sure hope your musical will one day make it to Broadway. Oh, and in response to your comment on my bucket list...I also in Florida. *waves to you from my kitchen window* But I just haven't been able to bring my nephews to any of the theme parks yet. Hopefully soon. :)
ReplyDeleteOh man! Well it will happen, and I'm sure they'll love it.
DeleteHi Crystal .. see the world with a littlie in tow - could be interesting! Hang gliding I could do that but never have - I used to glide though ... but could easily join you on your travels ... and end up seeing lots of musicals ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Crystal! I hope your music gets to be on Broadway someday. That would be truly epic!
ReplyDeleteI, too, would love to travel the world. By boat, car and plane=)
Thanks for participating in the Bucket List blog hop! Hang gliding sounds like fun! I really hope your musical makes it to Broadway. That would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of world to see - have fun!
ReplyDeletemy brother always tells me I have such a weird bucket list. I want to meet Prince William and Princess Kate. I want to walk a red carpet. I want to receive fan art from a reader. I want to high five Zac Efron. I want to spend a day on the Wheel of Fortune set (I don't want to be a contestant. I just want to play on the set for a day) I want to host Saturday Night Live.
ReplyDeleteIf you get a musical on Broadway, I'll def go see it:) As for my bucket list, I'll just be thrilled to get published...but man it takes a long time:)
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents used to do the Alaskan Cruise every few years--they really loved it. Hope you make all your items!
ReplyDeleteI doubt if I'll accomplish anything today.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I'd enjoy an Alaskan cruise, too. As for what's on my list that I'm working to accomplish today, that would have to be "lose 5 pounds" :)
ReplyDeleteI think those are awesome! Getting your own musical on Broadway? That would be fantastic. I'd like to do the Alaskan cruise too, and heck why not? See the world and explore all the local cheese. At the moment my bucket list is simple, if it even counts, finish my darn 3 WIPs lol

Awesome bucket list. And so great your book is getting such good reviews.
ReplyDeleteShort and interesting bucket list. I hope you can check off at least a couple of these things!
ReplyDeleteI like your bucket list, especially the musical on Broadway; I love musicals. Other than writing and publishing a novel, I want to go to Italy; I've read travel memoirs that are set in Italy, and I've heard that it's a beautiful country.
ReplyDeleteAwesome bucket list. I wish I'd known sooner about this hop. It look like fun!!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! And your own musical? Awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! So exciting :D :D

Just crossed off the Alaskan visit 2 summers ago..not a cruise. Get into the inner Alaska. Amazing. The mountains are powerful, emotional, beautiful. Great people there...individuals for sure. I don't think there are any rules about your own personal bucket list, so seeing the world is a terrific addition to your list. You go, GRRL!
ReplyDeleteAwesome bucket list. It looks like fun!!
ReplyDeleteCrystal I have quite the bucket list... see a concert (I know crazy ... it is looking promising for me to see Bryan Adams this Winter)... zip lining, I have to find someone to go with, someone serious :) See the world, I will start with Europe and go from there ;)
ReplyDeleteMy surviving uncle went to Alaska on his honeymoon. He and my aunt drove there from Colorado, with mosquito netting over their truck as a safeguard. I used to want to live in Alaska, and not just on the mainland, but on one of the Aleutian Islands. That fantasy is no more, but I'd still love to visit someday.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go on a cruise, but I'm not sure about the Alaskan one.
ReplyDeleteI love your bucket list. ^_^
ReplyDeleteI want to go hand gliding, too, if I ever work up the nerve. I'm such a baby about heights and jumping from them.
Gotta dream big. It's the only way to get where we want. :)
Love that you want to see the world!!
ReplyDeleteWe went on an Alaskan cruise a couple of years ago or so and it was awesome! I highly recommend it. :)
My bucket list--well I've got through so many items, but cruising the canals of France from Paris to the Mediterranean is on my soon-to-do. Reading? I'm right into Samantha Verant's Seven Letters From Paris. A great read. A bit different from Soulless, but I have eclectic tastes, but Paris books will always win the day with me.
ReplyDeleteYour bucket list is awesome. I'm not sure how you'd go about getting your musical on Broadway, but I'm sure you'll make it happen.
ReplyDeleteAnd best wishes for your book and tour.
Well, I've done the Alaskan cruise and you definitely want to do that. Not sure my issues with heights would allow the hang gliding. I think your desire to have your musical on Broadway is awesome. Mine is to walk into my local Barnes and Noble and see a book I've written sitting on the shelf. I'm still holding out for the old-school traditional publishing route because that's always been the dream and I don't want to change it.
ReplyDeleteACK! I missed the free day! *cries*
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I think my bucket list would be very long...there's so much travelling I'd like to do! And, um, lots of cheeses I haven't tasted yet :-)
Broadway musical? I want a front row seat, you hear?
ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear that your book is doing so well! Yay!
I went on an Alaskan Cruise last year, it was amazing. I highly recommend it. I love your short list. Sorry I am so late to participate in this hop.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment, the only thing on my bucket list is to finish one of my novels and get it published. Which might happen if I can get the time to, I don't know, work on my novel. One of these days...
ReplyDeleteThat is a great list. When will you have considered the whole world as "seen"? Every country? Every area with a population over 100,000? Experiencing every culture? Meeting one person for each currently spoken language? Just curious.
ReplyDeleteExcellent list.
