To anyone who has ever sent a family member to war, this is for you.
I can't say too much good about the wonderful men and women willing to lay down their lives to protect others. You are loved. And to the families who send your loved ones to serve the rest of us, thank you.
That was really impressive! They created some amazing things in shadow.
ReplyDeleteI know, right? If the performance wasn't INCREDIBLE, the message would be enough to carry it, but both aspects certainly are.
DeleteAnd it did. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt's not often you get thanked for making someone cry. ;)
DeleteSometimes the much overused word Amazing fits just right.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dance and very touching.
ReplyDeleteI love it. Doesn't matter how many times I watch it, I still tear up.
DeleteWow. Thanks for this beautiful tribute.
ReplyDeleteThanks for watching it. I've been waiting a year to share it. =)
DeleteI remember seeing this when it was first aired. Words not needed ...
ReplyDeleteAgreed. It's pretty awesome.
DeleteI agree. Great tribute! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for watching!
DeleteThat's beautiful. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I love it on so many levels. =)
DeleteSo beautiful and evocative...
ReplyDeleteI know! It gets me every time.
DeleteAmen. They deserve our debt of gratitude and remembrance not only on this day but all days. God bless, Maria @ Delight Directed Living
ReplyDeleteThey SO do. If only there were a way to keep that in our thoughts, eh?
DeleteWhat a lovely post. I actually saw this when it was on TV. Thank you for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I saw it a year ago, but I LOVE it.
DeleteI have the utmost respect for all the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect their countries... I know I owe a great debt to so many of them for our Freedom :)
ReplyDeleteSeconded! When I think about the time and sacrifice each one makes--months to years away from their families, trauma both mental and physical, the harsh circumstances... Wow.
DeleteThis is amazing, Crystal! Thanks so much for passing it along! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI was glad to share it, Krystal.
DeleteI remember watching this - it's so moving.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this, Crystal. I'm in a military family - hubby is retired, son commissioning next year - so this means a lot.
ReplyDeleteHey, give that hubby and son and extra big hug for me.
DeleteInnovative dance video. I've seen similar groups on "America's Got Talent".
ReplyDeleteThanks for helping to Blitz my Blog last week.

DeleteYes, any family who sends a loved one in to service is giving what's most precious.
ReplyDeleteIt's so true. Greater love hath no man, eh?
DeleteHi Crystal. Just wanted to say thank you for your recent comment on my blog; I don't know if you get notifications, but, in case you don't, your words came at just the right time.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad. I keep them pasted to my mirror so I remember them every morning and night.
DeleteThanks just doesn't feel like enough, but that's the only word that fits.
ReplyDeleteIt's true. I wish we had a more powerful way to express our gratitude.
DeleteThere are never enough words to say in honor of our veterans or our soldiers. I'm glad to see so many people taking time to post about them over this weekend.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I hope the vets feel an outpouring of love, even if we can't adequately express our gratitude.
DeleteThat was amazing!
ReplyDeleteI know, right?
DeleteReally beautiful! Such a profound message...
ReplyDeleteI remember watching it...
And performed by only 8 people... wow.
Thanks Crystal!
It makes me cry every time. Truly amazing, right?
DeleteNow I need a box a tissues. That was beautiful!
ReplyDelete*handing over a box of tissues* Don't mind that they're half gone already. ;)

ReplyDeleteI am so grateful for the sacrifices those in the armed forces make/made on our behalf.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this, Crystal!
I'm right there with you.
DeleteI've seen those types of shadow dancers before. Gorgeous. They did a terrific job with the message.
ReplyDeleteThank you to all who have fought for our freedom.
I think it's the best one I've ever seen.
DeleteWow, that was truly powerful. I'm always amazed by the shadow dancers and the images they are able to create. Thank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty amazing, eh?
DeleteThank you so much for sharing this, Crystal. It amazes me how much talent exists within this world and how much is forgotten. Thank you for taking the time to remind us of both. Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteGlad to do it.
DeleteFive starts for posting Crystal!
ReplyDeleteFive stars for that amazing performance, eh?
DeleteThat was beautiful on so many levels. *sniff* My dad was lifelong military, and although he missed a lot of events while I was growing up, I am forever grateful that he returned to us each time.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I can't even imagine. Thanks to your dad for his service!
DeleteI've seen this many times, but I always click to watch again whenever a link is provided. It's that amazing! :)
