My hubby and I stumbled across this series about a year ago, and I LOVE it. I also get a kick out of Kim Possible. (I know, I know, I'm SO old.)
Happy Funny Friday!
P.S. You really do have to watch this to the end to get the full potency. ;)
Who else has seen Sherlock, and are you as in love with it as I am?

I do love the series, but I'm addicted to Mycroft mostly. I LOVED League of Gentlemen and have been a bit obsessed with him ever since.
ReplyDeleteUnderstandably. =) My goodness, it's such a fabulous cast, isn't it?
DeleteI enjoyed the series too. Though I'd like Watson to give Sherlock his comeuppance a bit more. (I really enjoy Elementary a lot too. Have you seen it?)
ReplyDeleteI know! He's so patient. And yes, we've watched all of Elementary. It's not as good, but hey, the title of the post is true. I'm a sucker for Sherlock Holmes.
DeleteI've never seen this. But we don't have TV stations, so if it's new we won't know about it until a year or so from now. We're still watching Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. Pretty behind the times :-) Looks good, though!
ReplyDeleteOh Susan, you're missing out. It's super awesomesauce. We don't have TV either, but my super talented hubby won't let that stop us. We get everything on the internet.
DeleteHey Crystal,
ReplyDeleteNothing like a bit of Sherlock. Of course, in Britain, we seem to have a new version of Sherlock, every other week. Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar has acted out being , "Sherlock Hound"!
I've duly noted your um release and tour. I shall do what I can. Being a celebrity, it's such a hectic life. I know you can relate to that.
A good weekend to you, Crystal.
Penny's alleged human,
Gary :)
LOL! Gary, you're always good for a laugh. Sherlock Hound? *palm to forehead* Oh my--that may be going a little too far.
DeleteYou have a great weekend too!
Have to love Sherlock! Loved this video, for sure.
ReplyDelete=D
Delete...would it be embarrassing to admit I've got the 'Kimunicator' sound as my ringtone?
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's super awesome! Oh my goodness, that's a TV series they could have kept going eternally as far as I'm concerned.
DeleteBut didn't they just create a new Sherlock series with Lucy Lui as Watson? (I've only seen one season of that so far.) And now they've made another Sherlock series? In addition to all the movies with Downey jr? I guess the Doyle estate is raking in the bucks. I'm glad you're having a good time watching it. Maybe it will come to my area in a few years - I have something to look forward to, right? :-)
ReplyDeleteI've seen the one with Lucy Lui, and it's nowhere near as awesome. We still like it though.
DeleteWe enjoy it, too — not quite as much as Doctor Who, but that is a high bar. :) We don't have regular television, either, but most BBC stuff you can stream. We get ours from, I think, Amazon streaming, but Netflix might have it, too. Benedict Cumberbatch (the improbably named) is really fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Benedict makes the show. He's awesome.
DeleteI love, LOVE Sherlock. I can't wait until the new episodes come on! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe've been anxiously awaiting them for almost an entire year now. So frustrating!
DeleteSherlock is awesome! I am so, so glad that PBS started airing it a year or two ago, since my cable-less self never would've been exposed to it otherwise...
ReplyDeleteYou need to get out on the internet more, eh? ;)
DeleteI've heard all kinds of good things about this show! It's on my list...
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Kim Possible! : )
Dito.
DeleteMy daughter just hooked me on this show. Good One for a change.
ReplyDeleteI KNOW. It's what Sherlock Holmes really should be, right?
DeleteI'vr been meaning for some time to finally start watching this series. I think I may order it off of Amazon this weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou better. ;)
DeleteI loved Kim Possible. And I watched it as an adult, so how old does that make me?
ReplyDeleteShh! (So did I.)
DeleteHUGE HUGE HUGE congrats with your book release!! Yay!
ReplyDeleteAs for this Sherlock and Dr Watson... I CANNOT wait for the new series to start! *Swooning*!!!
Take care
x
I know, right? It's not fair that it takes so long for them to produce a new season.
DeleteI was a Sherlock fan last year. This year with reduced TV time to focus on the writing, my interest has somewhat waned :(.
ReplyDeleteSeasons, eh? You'll have time to get back to it once the busy is over.
DeleteBIG fan of SHERLOCK -- can't wait for the next batch of (only 3?) episodes. Hated the Iron Man movie versions; Cumberbatch rocks.
ReplyDeleteAmen to that!
DeleteHaven't seen this Sherlock. He looks like a fun version, though. Congratulations on your book release!
ReplyDeleteBest Sherlock Holmes ever.
DeleteHe does sound like fun! I loved the old version of Sherlock.
ReplyDeleteThis Sherlock is the quirkiest one I've met, but brilliant at the same time. No one has ever filled the role better.
Deletelove, love sherlock! any shape or form!
ReplyDeleteand congrats on your book release!!!
Even Kim Possible-ed?
DeleteThanks, Tara!
