Ready to meet Pk?

PK Hrezo is a native Floridian whose life could easily be a Jimmy Buffet song. She shares her home with her firefighter husband and their two children. When not creating characters and their worlds, PK can be found at her other job of rearranging passenger’s itineraries for a major international airline. The only hobbies she loves more than traveling, are reading, writing, and music, and when the four are combined she exists in total bliss.

She can be found eating brie in her family room (when not in France) with some jam, a glass of pinot noir, and a good movie.

She blogs regularly at PK HREZO: FearlessFiction.

Pk gave me two truths and one lie to test your "lie detector" skills. Can you figure out the lie? Those who do will go into my magic hat for a chance to win an ebook. Eek! How cool is that? You have until Tuesday, November 26 at 1 p.m. to guess--and be sure to come back for the answer on November 27th!

TRUTH OR LIE

1. Pk Hrezo loves broccoli stems, but abhors celery.
2. She adores country music.
3. She hates nail polish.

Okay human lie detectors, which is the lie?

AND today you have one more chance to win in the raffle below. That's right, two copies of her book up for grabs today! But before you take off, be sure to check out the...

Kelley Hicken welcomes you to Scribbleweed, an online community for writers where we discuss HOW TO SUCK YOUR READER'S SOUL INTO THE PAGE.

Have you met "drool-worthy" Kiren? He's chilling with Ellie Garratt today, and has agreed to be a little more forthcoming than in past interviews. Hm, I wonder why?

  2. Hooray for PK and Butterman Travel! I'll say that number 2 is the lie...or number 3? Number 1 seems too quirky to be a lie :)

  6. I'm going to say #3 is a lie. Love time travel stories and I know I will love this book. Yay PK!
I would think the list of reasons to eat cheese could go on all day. Don't know how you were able to stop it at ten. :D

    1. Self control. I've developed ridiculous amounts of it. (Or my fridge might be overflowing with more than 5 types of cheese at the moment.)

And yay for cheese! Yep i could eat a whole brie pie if I weren't careful!

    2. Thanks for stopping by! And yep I know what you mean--there'd be some concerns. And my characters def face some!!

  8. I've always thought that traveling in time would be fun ... as long as I didn't get stuck anywhere in the past. :)
I think that #2 is false, but I'm not sure.

    2. Tyrean, I think I could adapt pretty easily too the past (depending on the decade of course.) But I love simplicity. Thx for stopping by!!

Crystal, yikes, that's an un-hygenic thought! lol (how do you spell that???)

  9. That's because celery is like eating crunchy water that isn't ice, and what's the point of that?
    blech
However, celery does have a relation to time travel. 2 points if you know what it is.

    1. Wait a minute, I thought I was the one awarding points here. Hmm...

    2. Okay, well, I can't argue that one.

    3. Man, no one has even taken a guess about the celery.
      I'm so sad.

    4. Hmmm... can't say that I know the relation, Andrew. Unless you're getting really scientific with the time it takes for the color to travel up the stalk. But I'm guessing not. Curious tho! Do tell!

    5. Well, I can't just tell... not until tomorrow, at any rate. :P

  10. I don't know the lie, but if I could travel in time, I'd go back and figure out a way to have my children without marrying or ever having sex with their father.

    1. Doh! Okay, if that's really what you want. ;)

    2. lol.. Janie! Now, that's a conundrum for sure. And a huge paradox offense!!! You're officially banned from all time travel. Just teasing! Thank you so much for stopping by!!

  11. Hey could you take me back in time so I could open up a can of whoop ass on all the douche bags I met in my life? Dang, that would be a blast!!!

    1. LOL! Out for revenge, eh? We'll have to review the time-travel policies and see if there's a, uh, clause in there about that...

      Delete
    2. I think you could get away with some of it, but it'd have to be behind the scenes kinda thing. Thanks for stopping by!

  12. I've seen this book around and it looks awesome. I would love to time travel! I think the lie is #2. :)

    1. Me too--with the time travel thing. That's why I lured the scientists into my Floridian basement with promises of living cheese and have subjected them to eternal servitude. The teleportation device worked...until I had to break it so they wouldn't escape. I'm still waiting for them to fix my time-stopper, then we're on to time travel. ;)

      Delete
    2. A time-stopper would be a blast! But not without its consequences. There was a show way back in the 80s about 2 teens who had a stopwatch that could stop time. It was great!

Thanks Kimberly! And we'll have to see if your guess is right. Glad you stopped by!

  13. I have no idea! LOL. I'll go with #2 just to pick one. The book sounds great, though - what a great premise. And if I could travel in time... oh, that's a tough one. There are things I'd want to change, very badly, but I wonder how it would affect me and the future... I watch too much Star Trek, I think!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. LOL! I'm right there with you. (Trekky, that is.)

      Delete
    2. Right on, Liz. There are lots of terms and conditions when it comes to Butterman time travel. For instance, the paradox factor is a major offense. The possibility of parallel shifts is also a no-no, and offenders face major fines from the DOT. Thx for stopping by!

      Trekkies FTW!
