Suicide Cheese, Huntress Found, and Golfing

It's day 14 of the book release blog tour. *jiggle dance*

But first... The FABULOUS Alexia Chamberlynn's new book is out! If you haven't read this woman, you're missing out. Humor, awesome stories, wonderful characters, amazing backdrops... So what are you waiting for? Go pick up your 99 cent book!

Title: Huntress Found
Series: The Timekeeper’s War, Book One
Author: A.A. Chamberlynn
Release Day: 11/11/16
Category: New Adult
Genre: Contemporary Fantasy, Mythology Mashup with Sci-Fi and Steampunk
Price: 99 cents!!

About the Book:

From the author of the bestselling Zyan Star fantasy series comes a new world of magic...

Evryn’s got mad skills at playing hide and seek. She can find lost children, hack the most secure databases, pretty much anything. Except for the one thing she desires most: the knowledge of who her parents are, why they abandoned her, and what her special talent means about who and what she really is.

So, when a guy named Seeker appears quite literally out of nowhere, claiming to know about her past and offering her a job, Evryn can’t say yes fast enough. Even if it does mean following him to another realm. As in, mind-blowingly, not Earth. Apparently she’s part of an elite clan of Hunters descending from Artemis who can find just about anything in all of time and space. As the last of Artemis’ direct lineage, Evryn is her clan’s best shot at finding a lost city before rival clans do.

Not just any city, but the flying, realm-hopping city of Skye. Aboard Skye is the Artifex, a magical device with the power to create or destroy worlds. Everyone wants the device, and with Evryn’s super-powered lineage, it means everyone wants her, too. It’s hard to decide who she can trust, even within her own clan. After she discovers a strange, alluring connection to the Artifex, she’s not even sure she can trust herself. Worse yet, the only person who may be able to help her is the Timekeeper, the sadistic ancient being who created the Artifex. An interdimensional war is brewing, and Evryn is right at the epicenter of it all.

Let the hunt begin.

    1. You know, pair Limburger with the right foods, and it's quite palpable. Even tasty!

  2. Hi Crystal - good luck to Alexia, you and Joylene with your books - all so different - but I'm sure great reads ...

Death by Cheese - just too stuffed = yes! Very probably ... but I'd rather not ... Did you see the film La Grande Bouffe - it's in Wiki ... that made an impression on me ... and is not one I want to consider ... cheesed up or not!!

Cheers and enjoy your cheeses ... I love goat's cheese - Hilary

    1. LOL! YES! I will totally take the stuffed to death. Didn't see La Grande Bouffe, but I'm thinking I should maybe avoid it if it's going to make me cautious about eating cheese. ;)

  3. Can't say I have ever experienced that kind of death. Congrats to A.A.

  6. Congrats to Alexia! I now have cheese on the brain this morning.

  7. No death by cheese, but I knew someone who ate so much yellow cheddar cheese their skin turned a tad orange.

    1. Can that really happen?? Oh dear. Well, cheddar is naturally white before they dye it and tastes just as good!

  13. LOL on death by cheese. There was that one time. Close call on my part. Definitely formed a cheese baby in my belly of sorts. >_<

  15. Cheese would never kill us. Just lull us into an obedient stupor so it can rule the world. Flashing lights, however, make for a quick, but painful, death.

  16. Lol, I'm all cheesed over now:) I like the wheel of death too;)

  18. Congratulations to Alexia! As a lizard-lover, I also love how she's got a pet beardie. They're such awesome lizards, and relatively friendly and social as lizards go.

Death by cheese would be me eating an entire block of the delicious sheep feta from Trader Joe's in one sitting!

  19. Hi Crystal,

You are preaching to the converted I'm afraid. I could eat cheese any time of the day or night and just about any variety of cheese you might wish to send my way, with the exception of goat's cheese, which I simply can't stomach.

I'm not too sure that we have much in common when it comes to the genres of books we prefer, however I would still like to check out your features, just to make sure I am not missing out on something vitally important!

The 'Maiden Of Time' series certaing has some eye catching cover art and I wish you every success with it :)

    1. You're telling me, Beverly! (It was only supposed to be a MAXIMUM of 3 stops a day, but the programming was off and allowed for 4 stops...and I caught my breath and said, "Okay, well it won't kill me." So maybe that's what the death cheese is--so much awesomeness you're afraid it might have the most dire consequence.)

  33. Death by flashing cheese is just a depressing way to go. Could you imagine you had a cheese allergy and they found you dead due to a seizure of flashing cheese? It's like you were so allergic you couldn't even look at it!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, no, no, not death by flashing cheese, but death by actual cheese. If an allergy took you out, and least you'd go out with a happy tongue, eh?
