The following is a video of a ghost taken in a Forest in Eastern Europe. This was done using high speed cameras and slowed down for the naked eye. It's only 6 seconds, so pay attention!
Post by Tony Christie.
I don't know about you, but I laughed my guts out over this one...so of course I had to share.
Ready to guess the lie and win a book?
The game:
1. Miranda and Jay scrapped an entire manuscript and started over.
2. They both exploited their children in the making of this book.
3. One of them had a BEK experience while the other is a total non-believer.
And the lie is:2. They both exploited their children in the making of this book.
3. One of them had a BEK experience while the other is a total non-believer.
#3. Neither of them has had a BEK experience, and they both remain open-minded about paranormal encounters. Other fun facts: They set aside the original manuscript because they wanted to pursue something more creepy, and literally started over from scratch after a completed first draft. There are entirely two very different Death Knocks stories stored on their computers. And yes, they did exploit their children. Miranda's daughter is on the cover and Jay's son made the book trailer.
Way to guess those of you who got it right! And the winner is:
...DRUM ROLL...
Congrats Hilary!
And now to today's feature... IS SOULLESS!!!
The Soulless are coming.
Alexia manipulated time to save the man of her dreams, and lost her best friend to red-eyed wraiths. Still grieving, she struggles to reconcile her loss with what was gained: her impending marriage. But when her wedding is destroyed by the Soulless—who then steal the only protection her people have—she’s forced to unleash her true power.
And risk losing everything.

So what is your favorite Halloween spook? Are you ready for Halloween? Do you love ghosts?
That was funny!
ReplyDeleteFavorite spook? Like, fictional one? Not sure if I have a favorite ghost, but since I really dug the film Sleepy Hallow, I'll say the Headless Horseman.
Okay, so I completely laughed at that video. Thanks so much! I totally needed a good laugh.
ReplyDeleteLOL! If only all ghosts were that funny.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! When I first watched it, I'll admit I held my hand over the screen b/c I was afraid it was one of those where something super scary suddenly popped up. So when I saw the 'ghost' I had to watch it again. =)
ReplyDeleteLeandra, I did the SAME thing! ROFL!!!! Glad it wasn't only me. :)
DeleteThat was funny! (And LOL, Leandra, peeking at the screen through her fingers!) Am I ready for Halloween? We'll probably buy candy at the last minute as usual. The girls are going off with their own friends and abandoning us. And although I have 2 book events this week where I was invited to wear a costume, I have learned that none of the other authors are wearing one, and I'm too self-conscious to be the only one. (But I'm disappointed.)
ReplyDeleteAnd Crystal -- THANK YOU for the review of Th Caged Graves!
That was laugh-out-loud funny. Congrats to Hilary on the win.
ReplyDeleteha! I did the same as Leandra. Hilarious--I needed that laugh this morning!
ReplyDeleteNo way am I clicking on that ghost link. I did that once and my chair shrieked as it slid back from the monitor. "Fool me once...". LOL
ReplyDeleteSoulless sounds exactly like my kind of book. Wow.
I thought the video was going to have something scary that popped up, too! Instead I got a good laugh. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat was funny. The scary music was a great touch.
ReplyDeleteI am so ready to read Death Knocks. Just a few days till the great ghoul day. :)
ReplyDeleteScariest ghost ever!
ReplyDelete*big grin*
ReplyDeleteLOL! Now, that's my kind of ghost... ;)
ReplyDeleteI can never resist the opportunity to see a real live ghost in action. That is the bestest and most authentic ghost video ever! ^_^
ReplyDeleteThanks for allowing me to be a part of your blog tour, Crystal.
ReplyDeleteBahahaha. That is GOOOOD! LAUGH OUT LOUD GOOOD! I have to show this to the family. Hugs, pal.
ReplyDeleteCongrads, Hil. YOU WON! YEAH!
I'm sure I had something sensible to say, but thoughts of magical cheese distracted me.
ReplyDeleteLove the video. A friend shared it on Facebook the other day, so of course I clicked on it...Yes, I suppose those kinds are real. Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI missed this round of guess the lie, but I would have guessed correctly for once. ;)
ReplyDeleteI've seen that video before but it still got me! Hilarious :)
ReplyDeleteHahahhahahhaah LOVE it!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was so funny. Thanks for giving us all a laugh today.
ReplyDeletelol on the video. My favorite spook... Spaceghost. :)
ReplyDeleteFavorite Halloween spook? I don't know what that means.
ReplyDeleteI love that video! First saw it on Facebook, but I can watch that a million times and still giggle over it. :D
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA! That was an excellent video. You always have the best stuff.
ReplyDeleteI really liked your reading video. You have a nice voice.
Great video! Too funny!
ReplyDeleteI love scary movies, but hesitate to read or write scary things. I read Bad Girls Don't Die several years back and it totally freaked me out. But I am addicted to watching chill and syfi channels...
My son said you scared him. LOL
ReplyDeleteOkay, that video was hilarious. ^_^ I love this time of year, but my favorite scares are the more subtle ones, the ones where you kind of have to think about it for a moment and then a shiver goes up your spine.
ReplyDeleteLike if your kids say they want to go to a haunted house, just ask, "What's wrong with the house we live in?" and quietly walk away. ^_^
Oh Crystal, that was hilarious... that made me laugh, which I needed... I am still chuckling ;)
ReplyDeleteHah! Totally did the same thing as Leandra :) As for my favorite spook? Definitely witches! It's a fun and great costume!
ReplyDeleteI love that ghost video, too. Made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of evil clowns, so those are way spooky to me. I do enjoy seeing a good witch costume on Halloween.
I saw that video circulating on FB :) funny stuff.
ReplyDeleteAt work, so I'll have to check out the video later (the computers are sloooowwww....). Favorite spook? I don't think I really have one.
ReplyDeleteHi Miranda and Crystal - apologies for being so late .. the Tower held me captive ... and then the connectivity hasn't been great of late .. but I found you - I'm delighted having that copy of Death Knocks .. and that's your daughter on the cover, while Jay's son did the cover ... wonderful to include the family in your books ... cheers and I'm thrilled at being the winner .. Hilary
