IT'S FINALLY TIME TO SHARE MY GORGEOUS COVER!!!
Ahem, I may be just a little excited. (A tiny bit.)
Have you met the Soulless and Passionate? In the world of 1770 where supernatural beings mix with humanity, Alexia is playing a deadly game.
SOULLESS, Book 2 in the Maiden of Time trilogy
Alexia manipulated time to save the man of her dreams, and
lost her best friend to red-eyed wraiths. Still grieving, she struggles to
reconcile her loss with what was gained: her impending marriage. But when her
wedding is destroyed by the Soulless—who then steal the only protection her
people have—she’s forced to unleash her true power.
And risk losing everything.

She can be found practicing her brother-induced ninja skills while teaching children or madly typing about fantastic and impossible creatures. She has lived from coast to coast and now calls Florida home with her creative husband, three littles, and “friend” (a.k.a. the zombie locked in her closet). Secretly, she dreams of world domination and a bottomless supply of cheese. You can find her on her blog and Facebook, or follow her on Twitter.

ReplyDeleteThanks a ton, Sarah.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Kurt. I'm anxious for you to read it. =)
DeleteI cannot get over how amazing the cover is! Who designed it? I'd love to know how it was pieced together.
ReplyDeleteReally can't wait to read SOULLESS <3
Yay! My designer works exclusively for Raybourne Publishing, but he is totally amazing. You should have seen how many mock-ups we went through before giving a stamp of approval. In fact, maybe I should blog about it. =)
DeleteLove the continuity in the covers so it's easy to tell they are a series. Enjoyed the first one and am sure I'll like this one.
ReplyDeleteSo far early readers are saying it's better than the first. That makes me happy.
DeleteThat is SUCH a gorgeous cover! Congratulations :-)
ReplyDeleteFavourite supernatural creature ... There are too many awesome ones to choose from! Um ... dragons are pretty cool ;-) Or is that a fantasy creature?!
Rachel! I was just thinking yesterday how much I missed seeing your smiling face on facebook, and vowing to stalk you and figure out what's happening in life.
DeleteI'll take dragons. I think they're pretty epic too.
Beautiful cover! I can't wait to read your books! I signed up for your blog tour. ;)
ReplyDeleteAs for a favorite supernatural creature--I'm fascinated by sirens. There's something so intriguing and mysterious about them and their ability to sing men to their deaths, like the ones on Pirates. How they're so beautiful, yet so deadly. Kinda quirky, that way.
Wahoo! You rock, Cortney. =)
DeleteHey, I totally get the siren thing. I mean, what woman doesn't want to be a siren? I mean... ;)
Your covers are always so stunning, and this one is no exception.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite supernatural creature would have to be angels. :)
Aw. Thanks so much, Chrys.
DeleteAnother gorgeous cover, Crystal!
ReplyDeleteThanks, EJ!
DeleteIt's a lovely cover.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Katharina.
DeleteBeautiful cover, sweetie.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Thanks, Janie--and as I recall, I owe you a bullying story.
DeleteCongratulations on your release!
ReplyDeleteI love dragons, though I don't know if they'd be considered more fantasy than supernatural. I also love a good ghost story.
I'm right there with you. Ghost and dragons rock. I wonder if a story has ever been written about a ghost dragon...
DeleteWow, the cover really is stunning ~ congrats!! :-) And I've always had an affinity for vampires.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donea. I like vampires too. Probably too much.
DeleteSounds like an exciting book. Your covers are AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteYay! Thank you, Theresa.
DeleteI love the cover so much! And the supernatural I'd pick is angels!
ReplyDeleteI totally go for angels too.
DeleteYay! It's awesome and so fits with your series.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. My designer is epic.
DeleteYour post is ready for the 18th at The Write Game! Very exciting, Crystal. Beautiful cover.
ReplyDeleteYay! You're awesome, Lee. Thanks so much.
DeleteCrystal, I'm so excited for you! And the cover of Soulless is magnificent! I'm almost halfway through Moonless and I can't tell you how much I love this book. Your writing is absolutely stunning so I'm really looking forward to sharing it with others. I had to put finishing it on a hold because I'm teaching some writing classes to elementary and middle graders and had to prepare all of my notes.
ReplyDeleteWill be looking forward to reading book number 2!
Wow, thanks, Gina. That must be a total blast, teaching writing classes. I hope it's epic and a half! (And I hope you blog about it so we can see all the awesome stuff you do.)
DeleteCongratulations, Crystal!! I love this cover so much! ^_^
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the cohesion between the two. It's made of awesome.
Like cheese! Thanks, Krystal.
DeleteWoot! Congratulations! It's a beautiful cover. My favorite supernatural creature is a vampire.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christine. Somehow, I think I could have guessed that one about you. ;)
DeleteA great cover and a great blurb! :D Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carrie.
DeleteFirst I have to tell you that I really, really Love the cover!!!! One of the best I've seen!! As for my favorite supernatural being, it's a toss-up between Angels, & Faeries. Love, Love, Love them both!!!!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks!
DeleteI LOVE the cover!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lynda.
DeleteCongrats. I just read Moonless a couple weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteFavorite supernatural creature? Yikes. So many to choose from. But I like magic, so I'll go with a witch or a ghost.
You did? How awesome.
DeleteOh love ghosts too. Witches? I'm not such a fan.
It's beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
I love witches and (blushes) hot vampires...
Thank you, Sharon. It's okay. I like hot vampires too.
Deletebut f'real THAT COVER. THAT COVER is gorgeous. GORGEOUS. And I can't wait to read the book.

DeleteWhat a beautiful cover, Crystal! And your premise sounds so intriguing--I love historical/fantasy mashups!
ReplyDeleteHuge congrats!
Mashups are the best, eh? Jenni is the best, eh? ;)
DeleteIt's such a lovely cover, Crystal. I adore that font.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
Thank you. I'll pass that on to my designer.
DeleteWOW! What a beautiful cover. No wonder you're excited. Congratulations. :)
ReplyDeleteI totally should be, right?
DeleteThat is one good looking cover! Congratulations on the release of your second book.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. It's hard to believe sometimes.
DeleteCongrats on the new release, the cover looks great!
ReplyDeleteYay! Thank you.
DeleteFor the ARC, I'd have to say dwarves, so long as they're Tolkien's dwarves. In the original Norse mythology, elves and dwarves are similar. In Tolkien's works, you can see how the two races think they have nothing in common because their values drive them in different directions: dwarves loving to dig and find precious stones, elves preferring wandering through meadows and forests, etc.
ReplyDeleteHah! Dwarves. I love Tolkien's dwarves too.
DeleteI love the cover! It is amazing. Congratulations on the new book! ♥♥
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kathy.
DeleteReally nice cover art, Crystal. I love seeing cover reveals. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Patricia.
DeleteIt's awesome and beautiful and perfectly swoon-worthy!! Big congrats my friend!! :D

DeleteI love it! Congratulations on the gorgeous cover!
ReplyDelete*patting graphic designer on back*
DeleteCongratulations! Love the cover!
ReplyDeleteMe too. Thank you!
DeleteSo excited for you! This cover is so beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteI love many supernatural creatures- but fairies are my favorite.
~Jess
It is, isn't it? I'm big on fairies too.
DeleteGorgeous cover! I messed up on the date the reveal was to be on my blog but the post is up now. All the best for the book!
