You're like the fiftieth person to recommend it...I suppose I should Netflix it!<br />As for your question, I don't think any of us starts off thinking we'll fail. But because we're flawed, we make mistakes a long the way. It's acknowledging our shortcomings, improving them, and believing in ourselves, despite our flaws, that make us stronger. If we don't try, how will we know if we can succeed? AWESOME post.Emily R. But I love the parallel you draw even more. I think so many people do spend too much time apologizing for who they are, instead of embracing their flaws and making them strengths at the same time. (myself included, definitely). I still don't think I could wear that hat unless it was on a dare, though ;-)Loralie Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07134452749240292803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8568183101637683554.post-27899186694455985332011-08-11T09:29:26.876-04:002011-08-11T09:29:26.876-04:00Woo-hoo! I WANT to be willing to be bold and flawed and still come away loving myself. I WANT to be willing to take chances, make messes and fail. While I'm not quite there yet, I find I am getting slightly better at fighting the fear every step of the way and I'm continuing to work on getting stronger. It is my fondest hope that one day, I will be able to answer your question with a resounding "yes"! :-)Crystalhttp://littlebundleofcontradictions.comnoreply@blogger.com
